First week of school holidays

Well I honestly thought I would have put myself in a cupboard and locked the door to hide away for awhile as Cam is just so full of energy that I wasn't sure how we would survive.
But our first week has gone really smoothly.

On the Monday, Aunty Judith decided to be brave and take Cam and my niece ice skating...It was Cam's first ever go and he did really well. He managed to get a hang of things fast and by the end of their 2 hour session he was hanging out in the middle of the rink. Sorry the pictures were taken on a cell phone so not the best quality.
On the Tuesday it wasn't that great weather wise so he got stuck into some crafty things we had brought at spot light. Now the play room has some lovely window art stuck to them....rockets, aliens etc. Cam was very proud of how they turned out.
Wed- Linda and Graeme (gran and grandad) took him out for most of the day. They spent some time at the mueseum and a spot of shopping, plus back to their house to raid their weetbix box for the cards he is collecting.

Thursday we had coffee group at our house and that included kids aged from 5 months to 9 years old....busy but fun time. Then that arvo we went up to Rosslyn and Pat's (nana and grandad's) house to play some more with Gilly.

Friday- One of Cam's old preschool buddies came to pick him up and they spent the day on his farm. Cam loved this as he got to go on a huge walk. Apparently was alittle grossed out to start with as they have sheep poo on their lawn hehe it is a big farm and lawn. Niko and Cam caught some fresh water lobsters and just mucked around like boys do. Cam home after 3.30 with a few stratches and still some energy. Wow why do boys never get tired?

So this week we have a few play dates arranged so far and will take the rest as it comes..something normally happens to keep everyone busy.

Here is Cam showing off his skills on the bars at his school
